10 Grocery Items you should NEVER pay full price for

10 Grocery Items you should NEVER pay full price for

If you coupon shop at all, you probably see a recurring pattern in the coupons that come out. There will be ones that are “HOT” because they are high value or because they don’t come out very often. These are ones you definitely want. Then there are all of the other coupons, most of which you think you will not use, but even I have been surprised at some of the coupons I have used because of the sales and rewards that were being offered.

With that being said, here is my list of 10 Grocery Items you should NEVER pay full price for:

  1. Fruits and Veggies (price match these with other stores)
  2. Cereal
  3. Condiments (ketchup, mayo, etc)
  4. Canned Veggies
  5. Pasta (noodles or sauce)
  6. Boxed Meals
  7. Frozen Pizza
  8. Cheese
  9. Juice (bottles, boxed, frozen, etc)
  10. Yogurt

I am sure there are a hundred other thing I would add just because there are so many great sales and coupons that go with them.

If you are just getting into coupons, and haven’t really started shopping the sales, you probably haven’t seen much of a difference in your budget.

If you really want to save money using coupons, you HAVE TO SHOP THE SALES. Otherwise you are not getting the big discount on the items. I post weekly ad coupon match-ups for several stores every week. Take advantage of them and see what you can buy this week that is on sale and stock up on that.

With in a month or two you will really be able to cut your spending down (by 50% or more) because you won’t be paying full price for hardly anything on your list. It will all be in a mini-stockpile in your pantry so you can just use what you need when you need it, and restock it when another sale comes around. This is how you drop your grocery and household items spending.
