Maggie Bags Review - Campus Tote

Maggie Bags Review – Campus Tote

What is a purse/bag to you? I know people who have great big huge bags to these little tiny things that you wonder if anything can even fit in it…to me, a purse is something that gets used every day and is full of what I need (sometimes a diaper bag, sometimes planners and papers, coupons and shopping lists, etc). I like something that is versatile and strong, but fashionable and, well, cute. Since I was a little girl, I have loved having purses, and since then I have been through a lot of purses. I change them because of size, storage, worn out, etc. It has been a long time since I have had a purse that I love so much that I have seriously thought about getting rid of all of my old ones knowing that this one will stay at my side until the day it gives up the ghost. That is how I feel about my Maggie Bags Campus Tote.

Maggie Bags Review - Campus ToteMy Maggie Bags Campus Tote is the best bag I have ever had. It is the perfect size, allowing me to put my couponizer, wallet, and even my planners in my bag anywhere I go. I always have my kindle and phone and various other things in there as well. Funny thing, is that I still have room for some basic “diaper bag” things for my two year old.  I love the size!

The construction of the bag is amazing. It is made from recycled seat belts and it is strong. There is a length of padding on each strap so that it is comfortable on your shoulder, but it is narrow enough that you can hold it without feeling uncomfortable.

The bottom of the bag has little metal feet that keep it up off the ground. I love this especially for when we are at the theater or sporting events and it seems like there is always food and drink being spilled. It keep s it up off the ground and protects your bag. It also keeps it cleaner.

The inside of the bag is lined with a beautiful but durable silky material. There is a zipper pocket on one side, and two open pockets on the other.  They are big and deep. I am able to fit a 4×6 card into the zippered pocket alone. I love that!

The zipper on this bag is simply the best. It is heavy duty and zips and unzips easier that any other bag I have even had. The zipper pull is solid and heavy duty as well, but elegant and fits in with the fashion of the bag.

I really can’t say enough good things about Maggie Bags. I have been using my bag for over a month (on a daily basis) now and have not found one thing that I would change or that I don’t like. It was made for practicality, but it also look fashionable. I know that this bag will last me for years to come.

These bags sound amazing!! I love durable bags because I like to carry around a lot of stuff. 😉 When I was in college, I used a big shoulder bag instead of a backpack because I liked how it was a bit more fashionable. Because of that, I still gauge bags based on whether they can hold a textbook – old habits die hard, lol – and Maggie Bags look like they would be up to the job!! Nowadays I don’t carry textbooks, but I like to carry a water bottle, sometimes a portfolio, books, etc., and for that reason I prefer bigger bags or purses. I’d definitely put a Maggie Bag to good use.

I like the idea off the metal feet on the bottom of the bag–one it save the material and second makes it steader from falling over and spilling out– they are really cute–I love them !!Thanks for you review

I’ve been wanting a Campus Tote ever since I first saw one! I have a toddler as well, so I really need a durable purse that will hold all the extra “mommy stuff.” The fact that it looks so great is just icing on the cake. Thanks for a great review!
