This post was sponsored by Nature Made® as a part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I am sharing 10 ways to build healthier habits.
Being healthy is so important to me. I want to be healthy for myself, but also my husband, my kids, and for the kind of life that I want to lead. Those are some of the reasons that I am really enjoying the Nature Made Daily Boost program. I get email reminders, tips, access to helpful information and more. When I have motivation and reminders I do so much better at doing the little things that help me accomplish my bigger goals. I have involved my kids, husband, family and friends in this so that I can be accountable for what I am doing and the changes I want to make. If you are looking to change yourself, you have to have accountability. To develop healthier habits and to change what you want to change, you have to know what you want and go for it. Some of the things I use to help me everyday are a planner to write down my goals, menu and notes about the day; vitamins to help me get the nutrients I need; and a water bottle that I refill constantly. I got everything I needed at Walmart – I love their selection of Nature Made vitamins, minerals and supplements (I just got a multi-vitamin and chewable Vitamin C) and I know they are helping me stay healthier so I can do what I need to everyday as a mom, wife and business owner.
I have been working hard over the last few months to change myself to healthier habits. I have stopped snacking as much and turn to healthier foods. I have been trying to drink more water and exercise more. It is a challenge – especially since I have a desk job, but I know that I need to do this for my family and for me. I have a few goals for the next 30-days that I am going to work on and I want you to join me. It isn’t going to be easy – but I am determined to do this! I need more sleep, I need to eat better all the time and I need to exercise more. Those are the three things that I am working on over the next 30 days! What are your goals?
Today I want to share with you 10 ways to build healthier habits:
- Be dedicated
- Work on getting up earlier and going to be earlier
- Spend less time on your electronics and outside playing or working around your house
- Make a game plan (write down your goals, be accountable)
- Using supplements and vitamins to help you get the nutrients you need
- Drink lots of water (cut out soda, sugary drinks, etc)
- Plan and make healthier meals
- Eat healthy snacks
- Start working out (even if it is only 15 minutes a day, then increase it everyday until you are doing at least 1 hour)
- Use helpful resources and tools like the Nature Made Daily Boost program and the Nature Made 30 Day Healthy Habit Builder program.
Just taking little steps and having a mindset that you are going to accomplish the things that you want to will make a big difference. Small changes that really add up over time that will help you make a lifestyle change – changes that you are able to handle and deal with a little at a time instead of completely trying to change everything at once will really help you develop these habits that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
I would love to know how you build healthier habits and what you do to make small changes?
