5 things you can do that teach your kids better hygiene

Being a mom has changed me in many ways. I am a better person than I was 11 years ago – and I have grown spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Somethings that I noticed haven’t changed are my personal routine  – like brushing my teeth, skin care, nails, etc. All of those things I still take care in and make sure that I do them everyday. Not only does it help me feel good about myself, but it also teaches my kids to do those things and to take care of themselves. There are some essentials that I keep on hand that I love and use everyday like a great toothbrush, mouth rinse, facial wipes, moisturizer, and many others. My kids see me and see what I use and learn from that and have grown up to do the same things.

5 things you can do to teach your kids better hygiene are:

1. Make a routine out of brushing your teeth every morning and night
2. Floss and use a mouth rinse to give your mouth that extra clean (again, morning and night)
3. Wash your face, use a moisturizer and take care of your skin
4. Shower regularly, washing your hair and shaving
5. Take care of your nails, keep them clean and filed and painted if desired.

These are just a few things, but they are all important and will lead to them ensuring a healthy hygiene routine.
