Being a mom has changed me in many ways. I am a better person than I was 11 years ago – and I have grown spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Somethings that I noticed haven’t changed are my personal routine – like brushing my teeth, skin care, nails, etc. All of those things I still take care in and make sure that I do them everyday. Not only does it help me feel good about myself, but it also teaches my kids to do those things and to take care of themselves. There are some essentials that I keep on hand that I love and use everyday like a great toothbrush, mouth rinse, facial wipes, moisturizer, and many others. My kids see me and see what I use and learn from that and have grown up to do the same things.
5 things you can do to teach your kids better hygiene are:
- Make a routine out of brushing your teeth every morning and night
- Floss and use a mouth rinse to give your mouth that extra clean (again, morning and night)
- Wash your face, use a moisturizer and take care of your skin
- Shower regularly, washing your hair and shaving
- Take care of your nails, keep them clean and filed and painted if desired.
These are just a few things, but they are all important and will lead to them ensuring a healthy hygiene routine. There is a new study from REACH that shows 82% of the nation’s mom never skip brushing their teeth every night. With the new Reach Complete Care 8 In 1 Anti-Plaque Anti-Gingivitis Rinse and Reach Complete Care Curve Toothbrush I know that my mouth is being taken care of. I love these products and how convenient they are. The Reach Rinse has a no mess pump & cup (with holder) as well as a built in toothbrush holder. I love this setup and it makes it easy for me to remember to brush my teeth every morning and night. I totally recommend this to all moms (and dads) who want to step up their oral health care. The tooth brush has really helped because of the design, I have noticed an improvement in how my gums and teeth look and I am happy!
