Maintaining an active lifestyle can be challenging. Even if you feel like you are always busy, it does not mean that you are always active. Even with four kids, each of them with a busy schedule and my work, I still have to make a conscious effort to be active. I have found, that the more active I am the better I feel. This pushes me to be as active as I can, but things come up and get in the way of my well laid out plans, so I want to share some tips for maintaining an active lifestyle that I have learned. One of the most important things I do is try to eat a healthy diet and take Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic. Both of these combined with trying to be more active have really helped my digestion and in return I feel like I have more energy.
I wear and activity tracker on my wrist, I have an app on my phone and those two things combined with my own self-conscious niggling me in the back of my mind has promoted a more active lifestyle. I find myself walking more often, or getting up and finding something to do every 30 minutes to take a break from my desk job and get house w00ork done or play with my kids. Another thing that helped me, was getting my family involved so they can be more active as well and to push me to do better. While this all helps with getting up and moving around, I want to feel well enough to do it and that is where a good diet comes in. I try to eat good, but ever since I started taking Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic I have felt a lot better. Here are our 5 tips for maintaining an active lifestyle:
- Make a goal to get up and move at least once every 30 minutes. If you are with your kids at a practice, walk laps around the field, gym or neighborhood. If you are at home, do some housework, do a quick 20 minute exercise video or take the dog for a walk. There is always something to do, and a way to do it. Be creative.
- Try and eat a well balanced meal so you will have more energy and feel better.
- Drink a lot of water so you are hydrated. This will also help keep your energy levels up.
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep so you don’t feel tired and can accomplish everything you need to during the day.
- Take a Probiotic like Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic to help keep your digestive system balanced and healthy. These work great for me and I can tell a big difference.
