I never really thought about it when I was in school, but looking back I realize how heavy my backpacks were and how much I dreaded carrying them. Even now when we go on a trip and we take a backpack I was always making my husband carry it because it was so heavy from all of the crap we would put in it for our kids. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World, LEGOLAND, Lagoon, and many other parks this year and a good back pack is essential. The AIRBAC is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. We were also able to put heavier items in it without it hurting our back, like it did with our other backpack.
I have lower back problems and so I couldn’t carry anything but my camera for extended periods of time. Since we have been using the Layer Backpack from AIRBAC™, I have been able to carry the backpack now, without having any issues with my lower back hurting and in fact the backpack actually feels lighter because of the Air inside.
This explains it perfectly:
An Air Bac Backpack is made of extra thick double stitch nylon. The straps are very cushioned which means that your shoulders don’t get sore or “cut up” from the straps. And of course the air system (which I love) is made of puncture-resistant vinyl. It is great for kids and adults a like. They have so many styles and colors which is also nice.
My husband uses this backpack mostly for work, and he rides his motorcycle to work most of the time. He wears his Layer AIRBAC backpack and doesn’t feel “weighed down” or uncomfortable while riding or at work. It has three large pockets – and each has some bonuses inside. The front pocket has organizers for pens, and other items. There is a middle sized pocket, and then the large pocket which is big enough for a 17″ laptop (which I love because that is what I have). It even has an iPad pouch. There are two side pockets that zip and there is also mesh sides that are great for bottles and drinks.

Sounds like a bag I need to invest one, you are right about the books in school, I never understood how they expected us to bring them home everyday nearly, I’m hoping as kids do more things on tablets and such, the need for these crazy books will decrease.
