Halloween is such a fun time of year! We love all of the decorations, fun and treats. Another fun part of Halloween is the “spooky” movies that we love to watch as a family. We were just BOO’d by the Ghostbusters and so we had a fun movie night watching the new Ghostbusters movie and having treats. It was a lot of fun. My kids were a little freaked out, but there was so much humor in the movie, that it really wasn’t scary. It was so good, my kids wanted to watch it two days in a row. They also discovered that it wasn’t as scary the second time. Here is the BOO kit that we got and we love it! We had a lot of fun getting our kits ready so we can #BooItForward with our neighbors. You can print out your own Boo Card and get more ideas here. “Who you gonna boo?”
Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today – Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. This summer, they’re here to save the world!

The tradition of “Booing your Neighbor” has been around for several years now and it has really grown in popularity as a fun, safe, family-oriented activity. It’s also known as “Ghosting” or “Boo-gramming.” It has been a hit with families. Put together a home decorated bag of treats including a note with instructions on how to “boo” and a poem and deliver it anonymously to you neighbor, friend or relative. The recipient would then have 48 hours to do it to their next door neighbor or friend which creates a chain throughout the neighborhood.

What fun ideas do you have for a BOO kit?
What a fun idea this is! I still need to see the Ghostbusters movie.
This is such a cute idea, especially for neighbors to do for each other!
