We love to do crafts and projects, and at the same time we also love to do service and give to others. When we found this very cute idea in the Bic #MerryMarking Booklet for the Midnight Stroll, I knew we had to do it. You can see this idea and so many more when you get the booklet of merry marking and a coupon to start marking. It only took a few minutes for us to gather everything. We used candy canes, scrapbook paper cut into 3″ x 3″ squares, BIC Mark-It™ Marker #MidnightNavy, and a bell. We wrote notes on the back of the paper and then tied the bell and the note to the candy cane with some curling ribbon. I just tied a bow and then curled the ends with the blade of the scissors. I love how they turned out. SO CUTE and so easy to make. These would be great for so many things. Gifts for school, church, friends, family, and more. BIC Mark-It™ Markers come is so many different colors, but I really loved the Midnight Navy color for this project. It matched really well with the other colors that I used. I think the bell added the perfect touch to the gift. Even though it is simple, it still lets someone know that they are thought of and it will bring a smile to their faces. After we made several of them, we walked around and left them in different mailboxes. It was fun to spy out our window and see peoples reactions to them. My kids loved this and they can’t wait to make them for the kids in their class for Christmas this year. Spread some love and holiday cheer around your neighborhood this Christmas season with these fun “Midnight Stroll” Candy Canes. It is a great lesson in giving for my kids, and sharing with others. It’s the little things that can make a big difference. I nominate Suzette, Jennifer, and Stephanie to do a fun #BicMerryMarking Project with your family and share it with us. Be sure to get the booklet of merry marking and a coupon to start marking.

Sometimes little things do make a nice difference. I bet it’s something your kids are going to remember you doing too, and that’s doubly awesome. 🙂

This is such a fun idea! I’m going to start with the kid’s lunches tomorrow! 🙂 The next day I can leave one on the car seat, like you did! 🙂

That’s awesome! We always buy candy canes, eat a few, then we don’t know what to do with them afterward. This looks like a fun idea.

What a neat idea. Of course, since it’s illegal here to put anything in mailboxes, we would leave them some place else, but I think it’s a really neat idea.
