I am pretty good at things when I have instructions to follow. I have learned how to do many things without instructions. But ask yourself: how much better is it when you have steps to follow, know what you are doing it the right way the first time and not having to stumble through it mistakes and all. While “Life” doesn’t offer you an instruction manual, there are things you can do that offer help. One of those things is Cue Cards for Life.
The key to improving all of your relationships is
to build a basic set of relationship skills.
This book is full of advice to help you with communication and personal appreciation. I love reading through this book and writing down things in journal, setting goals and reminding myself of things I would like to change or improve on. The book is packed full of great information but there are really “Cue Cards” for each section, and card that tells you what the section is about, so you can look through the book and see what things you want to read or just start at the beginning and read through it all (highly recommended).
There is a great section about communicating with your children. Every parent can learn something from this! There are tons of things that you may already know, but it is a good reminder to read them and try to really practice them!
Overall I really enjoyed this book and think that everyone will be able to take something away from it! There are so many sections that cover all the areas of your life where good communications skills are required!
You can pre-order Cue Cards for Life: Gentle Reminders for Better Relationships on Amazon.com and get it when it comes out!
I was given a copy of CueCards for Life to review. This did not affect my opinions in any way. All thoughts are 100% my own.
