Delivery Man Red Carpet Premier at El Capitan Theater
As I sit here writing this post, I am reflecting back on the Delivery Man Red Carpet Premier and it all seems so surreal. The glitz and glamour, the lights, the environment, and most of all meeting the amazing actors and actresses all made it an experience that I will never forget. Sit back and get comfy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
It all started on the Oscar Staircase. When I started walking down those stairs and I saw the lights and all of the people waiting along the sides trying to get a signature or picture of their favorite actor it just hits you, like WHAM, this is really happening. You get that giddy excited feeling and just start to take it all in. We weaved through the crowds of people and made our way to the entrance of the red carpet. We got our “credentials” (badges and tickets) and we headed for our walk down the red carpet.
It was absolutely amazing – on one side there was the wall with the posters (this was on the right) with the beautiful red carpet laid on in front of it, and on the other side was the wall (yes literally wall because there were so many) of press taking pictures. I don’t think I have seen so many cameras in one spot before – it was like an alien space craft for all the lights that were flashing!
You walk down the carpet towards the entrance to the El Capitan Theater and you look around and everything going on around you, the glitz and glamour and you feel like you are almost in a dream. It was simply that amazing. We were able to stop and take pictures on the red carpet. This was so much fun. You feel like you are “one of the stars” and everyone was so nice.
This is me and my friend Donna from www.donnahup.com. We have been having a great time along with the other 23 bloggers that have came to this event with us.
When we got into the theater, we were able to get a drink and a popcorn and we went to our seats. We were right in the front row of the theater. The El Capitan Theater is so beautiful. There were lights everywhere and the screen was the size of the stage (really really really big). It was such an amazing experience and I feel so blessed that I was able to be part of it!
After the movie was over we all headed over the Hard Rock Cafe for the after party. This was another new experience. The stars from the movies were walking around and we were able to go up to them and talk to them and meet them. Of course I had to get my pictures with them.
The first person we met was Chris Pratt. He is so funny and really a great guy. He listened to me and talked with me and I felt like he was happy spending those few minutes visiting. In other words he is really sweet and down to earth. We also go to met his amazing wife Anna Faris.
She is so fun to talk to and very sweet. I have been a fan of hers for a long time and meeting her and getting to know her a little has made me like her even more. I know its not easy for them to meet and talk to so many people all the time and I really appreciate how sweet and genuine her and Chris were.
I also got to meet and talk to Bobby Moynihan. He is very funny and does a great job playing Aleksy in the Delivery Man movie!
And of course last but not least Vince Vaughn was there! He was very nice and funny. The Delivery Man Premiere was amazing. The movie was just great and I loved that it emphasized the importance of family and how wonderful it can be. The movie was very emotional and you will experience every emotion from laughing to crying.

Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders, and Vince Vaughn did such an amazing job! They worked really well together and I thought that the movie was directed well and I wasn’t board for any of it. It kept my attention and didn’t move to slowly. For those of you wanting to know more about the film:
DreamWorks Pictures’ “Delivery Man” stars Vince Vaughn as affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years earlier resulted in 533 children. David must now embark on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but also the father that he could become.
