I have shared a fun few things that we did for Hunter’s dinosaur birthday party. The Dinosaur Lava Cake, Dinosaur Balloon Stomp Game, and the Dinosaur Eggs Rice Krispy Treats. We really had so much fun putting it together and so I wanted to share all of the details of what we did. That way, if you are planning a party, you can use what info you want for yours!
Over the last few weeks, I have shared several ideas already. I am going to put them all together here so you can see it all in one place to make planning easier. We also linked some of our favorite Dinosaur Party supplies below so you can order those as well.
Our Dinosaur Birthday Party
We got a Dinosaur scene setter and the kids loved this – we took pictures of them in front of it and texted them to their moms.
Using plastic bugs (washed well), we made creepy ice cubes. Add them to juice and freeze them for the ice cubes. This was also a big hit.
We decorated balloons with dinosaurs to use as decorations, and we also made fun Dinosaur Lava Cakes. (get the tutorial here)
For the party favors, we made Dinosaur Mason Jars filled with toys and treats. These are pretty easy to put together and the kids loved them.
A fun twist on rice Krispy treats is making these Dinosaur Eggs Rice Krispy Treats (Hidden Surprise).
We used salt dough to make these dinosaur fossil “rocks” for the kids to take home.
They had a ton of fun playing this Dinosaur Balloon Stomp (Tag) Game. We also made a volcano with the vinegar/baking soda mixture and red food coloring.
