We received screening passes to see Frozen 2 in theaters. All opinions are my own.
Last week I was able to take my kiddos and go watch Disney’s FROZEN 2. We have been waiting for a loooooonnnnnng time to see this movie and so we were very excited.
First off, here is what FROZEN 2 is about:
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad.

Here is my review of FROZEN 2:
The animation is fantastic. The characters have all “aged” and look great. The storyline keeps you engaged and there isn’t anything too scary or crazy. It may be a little too emotionally rough for young kids (like 3-5) but I feel like they will roll with it OK. There is a very heart-wrenching scene with Anna, and she sings about some heavy stuff – but it all ends up positive.
Overall the storyline was great. I didn’t love the songs as much as the first one – but they were still great. Olaf is just as fantastic in this movie as the first one – and has a more mainline role. I also love all of the characters and elements that come out in this movie and all of the answers you finally get.
They leave it wide open for another one – which I am already looking forward too, lol. Be sure to stay until the lights come on. There is a fun scene at the end.
