We received a copy of the Abominable movie for review. All opinions are my own.
One of my new favorite movies is now available to own on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital! Abominable is a fantastic movie about finding yourself and being true to who you are. I also really love that the violin is prominent since two of my kids play the violin.
Check out my INSTAGRAM for a video of my daughter playing a cover of a song from the Abominable movie.
The music is really beautiful and like I said we love the storyline. You can read our full review of the movie here. Here is a little more about the movie:
ABOMINABLE is “an epic, colorful journey home. Beautiful and exhilarating to behold” (Glenn Kenny, The New York Times). From the studio that brought you How to Train Your Dragon, this heartwarming and humorous story.
It follows teenage Yi (Bennet) as she encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in China, she and her mischievous friends, Jin (Trainor) and Peng (Tsai), name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.
But the trio of friends will have to stay one step ahead of Burnish (Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara (Paulson) to help Everest get home.
I love the change of heart that comes from this movie and how every person in it is different at the end than when they began. This is a great movie to watch with your family again and again.
