Using the scale was simple. There is the on/off/tare button on the left and the unit button on the right. The scale itself is very light, but not made cheaply. It measures in Grams, Ounces, Kilograms, and Pounds. It can weigh up to 11 lbs. It will automatically turn itself off after 3 minutes so you don’t have to worry about the battery dying.
The Tare feature makes it so you can subtract the weight of any object that you don’t want to be included in the weight. So you can put your measuring cup (or whatever you ware using) on the scale and hit the Tare button and it will remove that weight so that the counter says 0.00. This will allow you to weight items without getting your scale dirty or having food go everywhere.

I loved the rubber feet on the bottom. It kept the scale from sliding around and provided it with a stable base when I was weighing things. I also liked how easy it was to read the screen and any angle.
