I recently had the joy of having to go through this, so I thought I would share what I have learned with you so you are prepared when the time comes. I hate to say it, but at one point or another, you won’t get the rewards you were expecting. Its not common, but it does happen. The key is to be prompt about getting it taken care of. If you have any experience with this please share. I love hearing other peoples stories.
My story:
I went to Rite-Aid to get pull-ups this week. They were on sale for $10 each, and when you buy 3 you get a $10 +Up reward. Plus there were $2/1 coupons in the paper, making them $14 ($4.67 each). So I go through checkout (with my four kids, this was a stressful trip anyways) and got to my car, got them all buckled in and decided to hurry and look at my receipt. GRRRRRR….was my first thought. My $10 +Up did not print…WHY?!?!? Got looking at it better, and for some reason, the register was kind enough to give me 20% discount INSTEAD of the sale price, making them $9.99 each!!!! Are you kidding me!?!? So, there I was, looking at my receipt and found that I was $0.03 short of getting my reward. Out of the car we go and back into the store so I could complain and make a big scene. HAHA. Not really, but kinda felt like it at that point.
Of course the manager and the cashier didn’t do anything, and just told me to call customer service and talk to them about it. BOOOO. As we were getting ready to leave, my cute daughters come running towards the door with none other than the Oral Care coupon booklets I have been reading about! WAHOO! It wasn’t a waste of a trip back into the store after all. So we grabbed the Crest toothpaste while we were in there before we left. I was super excited about that.
I decided to quickly let go of the issue and just worry about it the next morning since it was already pretty late. So the next day I got up and went to my computer, went to riteaid.com and went to contact. They have a live chat option on there that I love. The lady was awesome. I told her my reward didn’t print, she figured out why and decided just to let me have my reward so she mailed it to me and it only took about 4 days to come! That is always how I deal with my reward problems with Rite-Aid. (this might come in handy for those of you who have not used Load2Card before).
What to do when:
Rite-Aid: My +Up rewards didn’t print/load to my card:
Call customer service at 1-800-RITEAID (1-800-748-3243) (Available Monday – Friday 8 AM to 8 PM EST & Saturday 9:30 AM – 6 PM EST) or go here (http://www.riteaid.com/contact_us/) and do an online chat. They will evaluate why and determine if you were supposed to get them. (great service!)
Walgreens: My Register Rewards didn’t print out:
I ALWAYS deal with this on the spot right in the store. Get the manager up there and have him help you get your rewards right away or determine why it didn’t work. Don’t leave the store without your rewards.
CVS: My ecb didn’t print out:

If your catalina didn’t print, you can go about getting yours two different ways:
Call Catalina Marketing (877) 210-1917, option 1.
Email Catalina Marketing at coupon@catalinamarketing.com. Requests will be resolved within 2-3 days. Then it takes about 2-8 weeks to get your check if you do qualify.
In both instances, they will need several pieces of information that can all be found on your receipt. They will need:
The store name and address where you shopped.
The date and time you checked out.
The number printed on your receipt after the time stamp.
The items you purchased and what catalina you were expecting.
Your name and address.
They take your information and “verify” that should have or not received it. This can take a few days. Once they have verified that you should have received the catalina, they will simply mail out your catalina coupon! This will take about 2-8 weeks.
