Today is National #Scrabble Day so I wanted to celebrate by playing a fun game of Scrabble with my girls. We love Scrabble. It is so good for my kids – to help them be creative with words and learn how to spell. Scrabble is such a fun game that I grew up playing with my family and friends and so I wanted to make sure my girls (and eventually my other kids) are introduced to it. I no longer have to play it on an app on my phone, I can enjoy the game with my kids and we can laugh and argue and have fun just like I did when I was younger. It is great for teaching them spelling, reasoning, thinking through scenarios, and also some math to keep the scores tallied.
If you haven’t played this game for a while (or ever) then I can’t encourage you enough to get it and have a Family Game Night with your spouse, kids, parents or even grandparents! It is a lot of fun and you will want to play it all the time.
