If you love to get your heart pounding – and be scared, then you will LOVE the Field of Fright at Glen Ray’s Corn Maze. From the minute you walk in the gate at Glen Rays, you will be able to interact and see the frightening characters lurking around. They also come and “torment” you while you are standing in line. All of this gets you hyped up and ready for the main attraction.
I would recommend a fast pass because the line gets loooonnnng. But you don’t have to and you will have a lot of fun in the line (especially watching everyone run out of the corn maze screaming, lol). This is a good time to make sure you have gone pee before you go through the Field of Fright (haha) and yes, there is a port-a-potty close to the entrance to the haunted corn maze.

I would take into consideration the nature of the event, and I only recommend this for those 12 and older. There is a lot of life like horror, costumes, and props as well as plenty of jump scares and other things that most younger kids won’t be able to handle well. In addition, there are strobes, pitch-black areas, and other things that add to the thrill and scare factors.
With all this in mind, I also want to recommend you wear tennis shoes or boots and a jacket. Field of Fright doesn’t open until it gets dark. And when it gets dark this time of year, it gets pretty chilly. Also, remember that this is an outdoor corn maze and the ground is uneven from use, weather, and other factors. So be prepared and be careful.

GLEN RAY’S CORN MAZE
The ticket also includes all of the activities Glen Ray’s has to offer (like the hamster wheels, jump pad, slides, hay bale pyramid, and more – so be sure to explore everything before or after your trip through the Field of Fright! I recommend going early enough to do the regular corn maze before it gets dark. It is so much fun and more enjoyable when you can see where you are going. It is 7.5 acres in size – so don’t expect to conquer it immediately.
There is also a concession stand where you can purchase snacks and drinks. There isn’t a drinking fountain, but you can also bring drinks and snacks and keep them in your car (if you don’t want to carry them). There are tables and benches available to sit at if you want to eat or just relax.

I hope you have a great time at the Field of Fright and Glen Ray’s Corn Maze! It’s one of our favorite Halloween activities in Utah.
