i dont have kids, but if i did i would encourage them to engage in conversations, games, etc. with other kids. i would tell them that they need to be gracious, thoughtful, ask other kids to join them in playtime….

Well, with my grandson, I really don’t have to do that. He will talk to every child he sees at the park when we go so each and every time, he meets a few new friends. We do let him know he has to share with his friends and to be kind to them

I help my kids make friends by encouraging them to be friends with family first. That way it eases my boys into being friends with other children their own age. It works.
