A good rug is hard to find. I can’t tell you how many I have been through in the 10 years I have been married because they were not made well and fell apart. I would use the rug for my living room, I have hardwood floors which are really nice, but they are repetitive and need a splash of color that a pretty rug would provide.

I want to change up my living room with an area rug. We have a wood-burning stove in our living room and our carpet has really suffered the effects! Grime from ground-in coal dust and wood-chips–things that a good carpet cleaning doesn’t seem to help much. I think a nice area rug would help preserve the carpet underneath.
