All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

I am a longtime DWTS (Dancing With the Stars) fan. Especially since both of my oldest daughters are on their schools’ Ballroom team. My oldest is even the co-captain of her team. While in LA, we get to go to do a THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS inspired dance lesson with teachers and DANCING WITH THE STARS / DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIORS mentors Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten & Gleb Savchenko. EEEEK!
Gleb Savchenko was born in Moscow, Russia, and has been dancing since the age of 7. He won his first professional international championship when he was only 14 and is a specialist in International Latin dance with proficiency in ballet and contemporary dance. Savchenko has appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” in the U.K., Australia, and Russia, and has been a choreographer for other dance shows, including “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Brandon Armstrong was born and raised in California and then moved to Utah, where he began dancing at the age of 12 and trained with Mark Ballas, Corky Ballas, and Shirley Ballas. Trained in all styles including jazz, hip hop and contemporary, he has traveled all over the world to compete professionally, specifically in Latin Ballroom.
Armstrong officially joined the cast of “Dancing with Stars” as a troupe member for season 24. This will be his first season as a professional dancer. In addition, he has appeared in the “Dancing with the Stars: Live!” Light Up the Night tour.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Alan Bersten started dancing at the young age of 7. Growing up, he became proficient in contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, Bollywood and Broadway. His diverse dances led him to win Youth Championship and Under 21 National Titles.
“Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” marked Bersten’s second time as a pro on the show with Olympic medal-winning figure skater Mirai Nagasu, making it into the semi-finals. He has been on tour with “Dancing with the Stars: Live!” five times.
Have you seen the new Disney’s Christopher Robbin movie? The Heartwarming, Live-Action Adventure for the Whole Family Comes Home on Digital and Blu-ray™ Nov. 6. Embark on a spirited adventure with grown-up Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh, and friends, and go behind the scenes to discover how Disney’s beloved characters are brought to life. My kids have been dying to see this again, and I can’t wait to watch it with them over and over. It is such a great movie packed with humor, tenderness, and fun.
While we are there, we get to sit down for a Q+A with Jim Cummings who does the voice of “Winnie the Pooh” & “Tigger” and then enjoy a delicious Friendsgiving lunch. I am very much looking forward to this. Tigger has been my favorite since I was little and I am thrilled to meet the voice behind him. Jim Cummings is very talented doing not just Winnie the Pooh and Tigger (in many many different shows and movies) but he has also voiced characters in movies like The Princess and The Frog, Aladdin, Bee Movie, A Goofy Movie, not to mention hundreds of TV shows (cartoons) and video games.
And if all of this wasn’t enough, we get to enjoy some fun with behind-the-scenes experiences for two ABC shows – THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT and STATION 19!
“The Kids Are Alright” airs Tuesdays at 8:30|7:30c on ABC! You can also watch/rewatch via streaming (ABC app/ABC.com/Hulu) or On Demand.
Set in the 1970s, this ensemble comedy follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family, the Clearys, as they navigate big and small changes during one of America’s most turbulent decades. In a working-class neighborhood outside Los Angeles, Mike and Peggy raise eight boisterous boys who live out their days with little supervision. The household is turned upside down when oldest son Lawrence returns home and announces he’s quitting the seminary to go off and “save the world.” Times are changing and this family will never be the same. There are 10 people, three bedrooms, one bathroom and everyone in it for themselves.
The series stars Michael Cudlitz as Mike Cleary, Mary McCormack as Peggy Cleary, Sam Straley as Lawrence Cleary, Caleb Foote as Eddie Cleary, Sawyer Barth as Frank Cleary, Christopher Paul Richards as Joey Cleary, Jack Gore as Timmy Cleary, Andy Walken as William Cleary and Santino Barnard as Pat Cleary.
Station 19 is a group of heroic firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19—from captain to newest recruit. They risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock. These brave men and women are like family, literally and figuratively, and together they put their own lives in jeopardy as first responders to save the lives of others.
You can watch the show on Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC! Also available via streaming on ABC app/ABC.com/Hulu and on demand. Watch the latest episodes, meet the cast, see behind-the-scenes videos and more here: https://abc.go.com/shows/station-19
