We received a copy of Greenland for review. All opinions are my own.
Gerard Butler’s latest movie Greenland is available to own on Blu-ray and DVD today! This is a fantastic movie packed with action, suspense, and hope. My whole family loves it and are thrilled to watch it again…and again…and again…lol.
The movie got great reviews (77% on Rotten Tomatoes, 4.5/5 on Amazon, etc). And who doesn’t love Gerard Butler? Morena Baccarin (who plays his wife) does a fantastic job in the movie as well and these two have beautiful chemistry in the movie.
Greenland parents Guide
It is rated PG-13. As far as content, there is some violence – some of it a little graphic. Very intense scenes. Some language. There is no sexual content (except a couple of kisses) and 1 mention of beer at the beginning of the movie. I would recommend 13+ for this one, but you may be able to screen it first and see if your younger kids would be ok watching it. my 9 and 11-year-olds watched it. I did make them cover their eyes during the fight scene that starts in the back of the truck…just to give you a heads up.
Overall, this is a fantastic movie that keeps you in suspense from the beginning. It takes twists and turns that you aren’t expecting and always keeps you guessing. You can read our full review here. Also, here is a fun side note…Gerard Butler also helped produce the film. The movie runs for about 2 hours, there is no end credit scene, and there are Spanish subtitles.

Get your copy of Greenland on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, or Digital now! If you aren’t sure – you can rent it – but I highly recommend buying it. I just think you will like it that much. My only complaint is that the digital code is only good for Apple. I would rather it have been able to link to my Vudu or Movies Anywhere account. But we have the Apple app on our Samsung Smart TV so it’s not that big a deal. Just a heads up.
