Halloween Cruise CLAS Ropes | Provo River

Go on a pirate adventure with your family down the Provo River with the Halloween Cruise from CLASRopes! We got to go and experience the Halloween Cruise CLAS Ropes and we had so much fun. My kids are older (ages 13-19), but we still had a great time. People with younger kids will have that much more fun. They go all out and make it a great experience for everyone involved.

When you first get there, you check in (obviously haha), and then they have a covered area with chairs where you can watch a movie. You can do this while you are waiting for your river cruise, or after. The movie is family-friendly and lasts about 30 mins. When they call your group, you will then be led on a decorated trail down to the boat. There is also a stop for life jackets for anyone 12 and under.

Before you get to the boat, you will be greeted by your pirate captain (and navigator). They will direct you on where to sit. Once you are on the boat, the adventure really begins. He will tell you a tale about treasure and how you are searching for it. There is also another pirate out to steal that treasure – so you have been given “gold” to give to that pirate at some point in the adventure. Another pirate does finally board the ship and you have to hand over your gold (a fun gold-painted rock).

There are fun jokes, stories, and interactions with the pirate captain along the way and they really make the whole experience fantastic. We had Captain No Beard (haha), and he did a great job.

In addition to all this fun, you will be treated to a ride up and down the Provo River (no motor, the boat is pulled/navigated by the pirate captain). They have decorated it with hundreds of lights, and over 100 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns. There are also other decorations (like a headless horseman) and more that will be fun to spot.

The ride lasts about 25-30 minutes and you are entertained and involved the whole time. It’s a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

Each ride lasts approximately 20 -25 minutes round trip. Riverboat seats up to 40 people and are wheelchair accessible. Blankets and warm clothes are recommended.
