Father’s Day is just around the corner. Have you picked up a gift yet? Head over to Best Buy and Check out their great selection of drones, including the Solo™ by 3DR. The Solo™ by 3DR is the first of it’s kind to be powered by two integrated Linux computers. This makes it perfect for capturing shots, and easy for anyone to use. Focusing on a specific shot? The Solo can define it’s own flight using the one-of-a-kind computer-assisted Smart Shot modes to fly itself so you can focus on shooting images.

Another amazing first from this intelligent drone is that it can support full control of GoPro® cameras and deliver live HD video either wirelessly to your mobile device or through the controller’s HDMI port for live broadcasts. That is so cool! It will get all of the shots you always wanted and those you didn’t know you could!

The control pad has a 1GHz computer in it as well as does the drone itself. They are connected through a powerful dedicated Wi-Fi signal which enable the Solo to do amazing things! There are four really cool Smart Shot Modes on the Solo Drone – CableCam, Orbit, Selfie and Follow Me. CableCam allows you to create a digital cable between two points and the use the joy stick to navigate back and forth on that cable. The Orbit mode can automatically circle a subject keeping the camera pointed inward to capture the wraparound shot. Selfie allows you to keep the camera focused on you, but fly up and away. Follow Me mode allows you to go completely hands free and the Solo will follow you wherever you go.

There is also a full featured app for both the iOS and Android which allows you to see your live feed from the Camera and satellite view of your selected shot. You can also control your GoPro and edit your Drone settings.
