We like to have family traditions. Things that our kids can look back on and remember that we did year after year, together as a family as part of our holiday celebration We have used traditions from my husbands family, and some from mine, and this year we introduced a new one into our own family…Holiday Garland with popcorn and cranberries.
I know that holiday garland has been around for years, but this is the first time that we have tried it with our kids, and they loved it so much that we know we will keep doing it for years to come. We used JOLLY TIME popcorn and Habelman Cranberries to make our Holiday Garland. (on a side note, the popcorn was so yummy without even salt or butter, which is rare for hot air popped corn…just goes to show the importance of quality in the popcorn you are buying).
We used a needle and thread to make our garland, stringing four or five popcorn then a cranberry. My kids loved this. It didn’t take them long to get the hang of it and we quickly had a nice garland to string on our tree. This was something that fun and makes for a great new tradition in our family.
Another great thing we were able to do was make popcorn balls. We used these awesome cups to form the popcorn into perfect balls. My kids loved this. We also were able to make a jar to gift to a friend with popcorn.
Overall we were very impressed with the quality and taste of Jolly Time Popcorn. It is so good. Since we have a hot air popper we have tried several brands of popcorn, and nothing has compared to this one. They have money saving Jolly Time Coupons on their site as well!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I’d never heard of adding cranberries to popcorn garland before this year and I tried it with my grandma yesterday. This was my experience with making one. http://shaneskillercupcakes.com/2013/12/24-days-of-advent-calendar-fun-days-9-11/
