When you get a new printer, you want it to be something that you will be able to use (easy to setup and understand) and also something that deliver great quality prints and photos without breaking the bank on ink. I have the perfect solution for you – the HP Envy 5530 e-All-in-One Printer.
Not only is it super easy to setup – but it is compatible with HP’s amazing ink subscription service. You can print as many pages as you want and they send you new ink cartridges based on your usage. The best part? It is an inexpensive as $5 MONTH! That is for up to 50 pages. Then $10 a month for up to 100. Think of all of the coupons, photos, coloring pages and many other things you can print out.
The printer itself is big enough that it can effectively scan most documents, but still small and sleek enough to not cause problems. I love the touch screen and I also love that it is wireless. That means I can connect my devices as well as other computers wirelessly and print what I want when I want.
The paper tray area closes when you are not using to prevent dust from building up inside and also to save space. The paper tray is right below where the printed paper comes out so there is just one small area for both o f those. It is really compact but it has a nice size scanner. The ink is easy to put in and take out because it is under the scanner.
I also love the touchscreen features and how easy it is to get where I want. You can connect it to your computer through the wireless or you can use a USB Cable (not included). It has everything else you need to get started though.
The quality of the print is amazing. I love how vibrant the colors are and how fast it still prints. It dries quickly which is nice because I always have eight little hands grabbing at everything that comes out.
We recently made this Planes: Fire and Rescue Birthday Invitation and used our HP Envy 5530 Printer to print it out. Here is how it turned out:
You can see how beautiful the color is, and we printed on cardstock without a problem. Another great feature about this printer, is that the ink doesn’t bleed. I have had printers in the past where the ink bleeds when you print something heavy like this – and as you can tell – the HP Envy 5530 printed everything perfectly.
Here is a line up of the features that I love the most:
- 2.65″ touchscreen panel
- 2 ink cartridges (1 black and 1 tricolor – HP61 ink)
- Wi-Fi
- SD Memory Card Slot
- 2-Sided Printing (also known as Duplex)
- Instant Ink Program
- Wireless Direct Print (from anywhere anytime)
- You can print, copy, scan, print photos
- Prints up to 21 ppm in black and up to 17 ppm in color
- 1200 x 600 resolution for black and 4800 x 1200 in color
- ENERGY STAR® qualified

It looks really nice. Any time we need a new printer I look at my husband and let him take care of it. Hahahahaha

Those colors really did turn out nice. That’s what I’m missing right now, some good color. My printer is great, but it’s b&w only, and that limits so many things for me!
