Why every woman needs to see the movie I Feel Pretty

I had the fun opportunity to take my daughter and meet some of our friends (my friends and her friends) on a mom/daughter date to go and watch a screening of I Feel Pretty. I was already excited to just see everyone and hang out. I knew the movie would be funny, but I didn’t expect it to be so touching. It really speaks to you on so many levels and that is the biggest reason that I think every woman needs to see the movie I Feel Pretty!

This movie isn’t just about feeling pretty, but more about being confident, happy and feeling good about who you are inside and out. When you feel that way, the people around you will feel that way not only about you but about themselves as well. Be kind, happy, loving, understanding and confident and uplift those around.

I Feel Pretty is a must-see! Take your daughters (although this has some questionable things in it – so 12+ recommended) and laugh and bond over this great film! It is out in theaters everywhere today!

ABOUT THE FILM

The film presents a fascinating and relatable “what if” scenario- what if you could have 100% of your confidence every single day? Who would you be, how would you live and what would your life look like?

Amy Schumer and the filmmakers are very passionate about the film. She has said I FEEL PRETTY is about “loving who you are” and Aidy Bryant has said regarding her experience, “I’m very proud to be in a movie tells the story of someone who believes confidence is directly tied to looks but learns that confidence comes from within. It’s a movie I wish I could have seen when I was 14.”

In I FEEL PRETTY an ordinary woman who struggles with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy on a daily basis wakes from a fall believing she is suddenly the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. With this newfound confidence she is empowered to live her life fearlessly and flawlessly, but what will happen when she realizes her appearance never changed?
