I recently spent the weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah with a bunch of girlfriends. It was so much fun and the perfect break for this busy tired mom. Wither you are looking for something to do with your friends, your date, your spouse or just to do with your family – I am going to share some really great places to eat, activities to do and places to stay so that you can have the best time! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner too, so be sure to check these out for Valentine’s Day ideas!
We were hosted at the new Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown thanks to Mediavine. The hotel is conveniently located to many of the downtown attractions (like across the street from Vivint Smart Home Arena) and close to City Creek Center, Gateway Mall and several other places). It is a great place to stay, with big comfortable beds, an indoor swimming pool, free wi-fi, free parking and more! Learn more about Mediavine on their WEBSITE | FACEBOOK | TWITTER.
Christopher’s Steak House:
Christopher’s believe in a more personal dining experience and it shows in their service & food! They will only serve the highest quality all natural, locally sourced products. Christopher’s is Zagat rated: EXCELLENT, and if you have not been there then you are in for a treat! The food is delicious and comes in big portions. I got the salmon with a loaded baked potato and I traded half of my salmon for half of a filet mignon. We also tried the stuffed mushrooms, ribs, creamed spinach, fries and so much more! The food has amazing flavors and everything I tried was just so good. I highly recommend eating there, especially for a special occasion. Shopping at City Creek Center
In the heart of Salt Lake City, City Creek Center is the retail centerpiece of one of the nation’s largest mixed-use downtown redevelopment projects. This unique shopping environment features a retractable glass roof, a creek that runs through the property, a pedestrian sky bridge and more. We had so much fun exploring the mall and enjoy the beautiful environment and the fountains. This is a great place to hang out and explore. Salt Lake City seems to have much to offer in just one area. I would probably freak in the Escape Room but I’d have to try it. City Creek Center is calling my name. What a cute place to shop! And the restaurants … I’d have to starve for two weeks after coming back, Yum!
