We had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Intel Technology Experience at Best Buy. There were amazing displays that showcased all of the fun and new technology available and gives you an interactive hands on experience with everything from Driving a Rover on Mars to Mixing your own Music! There is even a 3-D printer where you build and print your own 3-D robot. There are 50 Best Buy stores across the U.S. where you can go and be part of this experience. The Intel Technology Experience is something that you don’t want to miss – it will blow you away.

In this video you will see some of the experience you can learn about – and each customer can participate in the hands on experiences and learn about the amazing Intel Technology. We were able to learn about the 3-D Printer, build a robot and even take one home. We were able to race on Mars with an augmented reality world (using a tablet) and even create our own show (with effects, lights, sounds, and more). Our host A.J. was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I am a techie so I loved going and learning about Intel Technology at Best Buy, but they really can simplify it so even the technophobes will be able to go and enjoy the new technology that is there.

The Intel Technology Experience is an average of 240 sq ft. One thing I loved learning about was the processors and the wafers – it just amazes me how they work. The fun thing is that the Intel technology that you learn about and get to see first hand while you are there – is the same technology that powers the products we use every day like our phones, tablets, and computers!

I think our favorite part was the 3-D printer. It was amazing the possibilities and how it works. The robot we got was simply amazing and watching the printer work was even cooler. To take something from your computer and have it come to life right before you eyes is truly amazing technology. Be sure to head into a Best Buy that has this Intel Technology Experience and spend time playing with the new technology.
