My daughter is getting ready for a visit to the orthodontist to talk about our options for straitening her teeth. There are so many options now for ways to get that “perfect smile” and I want her to be comfortable and happy throughout the experience. We have been looking into Invisalign as an option because it is virtually invisible and can straighten her teeth without the traditional wires and brackets. can be hard and cause them a lot of grief. We want the experience to be good.
She loves sports and I know that having metal braces will be a problem, especially if she gets hit in the mouth. So we would have to look into mouth guards which are uncomfortable and bulky. With an she can remove them so she can brush and floss like normal and we don’t have to worry about food restrictions. The length of time you wear Invisalign is about the same as regular braces. You can findto connect with experienced Invisalign and Invisalign Teen doctors in your area.
I want her to have the best smile she can, because I know that it will not only help her feel better about herself, but she will look her best. You can see in this that having straight teeth can (and most likely will) have an impact on your child’s happiness, health, and education. First impressions and appearances are important – and when you have a beautiful smile with straight teeth, it can make a difference. See the below to see how well they work.
We have a large family so we are on a budget just like most other families. After looking into it, we found that the is about the same as an Invisalign treatment, and was also covered under our insurance. The Invisalign Teen program comes with six free replacement aligners. Each aligner also has small blue dots (officially called compliance indicators) that gradually fade as aligners are work. This makes it easy for everyone to make sure the aligner is getting worn enough to get results. After any teeth straightening procedure, there is a chance that over time the teeth may gradually go back to their original position. Invisalign has created the Vivera retainers to easily overcome this.

Very informative article!! I used traditional braces for three years to straighten my crooked teeth and was removed only a few months back. Though they did provide good results, I was in total discomfort during the entire duration of treatment. Because of the metal braces attached in front of my teeth, I was hesitant to smile. I didn’t know about invisalign treatment at that time or else I would have preferred it over braces even if they cost more. Anyway, it is good your daughter was able to get the treatment in her teenage itself. My orthodontist always says that any kind of teeth alignment treatment works better for teenagers than for adults.

wow those made a huge difference and so much nicer than the old school silver braces. I wonder how the pricing compares vs. the 2.

These are so much better than the tinsel teeth kids had to have when I was young. I could have had braces but my teeth weren’t that bad, so my parents thought it not worth putting me through metal braces & I I agree… but I certainly would have done these and am glad the option is there for my daughter.

Wow, her smile looks amazing! It’s such an important part of a girls (anyones) confidence that we should invest in them.
