Jabra Freeway Review
If you were to watch me drive you would definitely laugh. While driving I am trying to take care of my kids (“mom I need a drink”, “mom I’m hungry”, and on and on). While taking care of this I of course get a phone call which between driving and holding my phone I no longer have a hand to supply my kids with what they think they need. (And it seems there is always something) lol. This is where having a handsfree set makes the difference between crazy lady and “fun trip to grandmas”.
The Jabra FREEWAY is one of the first in-car speakerphones to have 3 speakers coupled with Virtual Surround Sound. You’ll enjoy sound so clear, it will be like talking to a passenger in the car. All of the background noises, honking cars, roadwork, bumps on the road, disappear with FREEWAY’s dual-mic technology, which filters out everything but your voice.
Not only do I use our Jabra Freeway whenever we are driving but my husband has adopted it! He commutes almost daily to and from work in city traffic on the freeway. Instead of being distracted trying to hold his phone, dial numbers, answer the phone, etc he is able to connect his phone through bluetooth and then he is able to do all of that through voice commands which leaves his hands free and his attention on the road.
It has noise canceling technology that makes it so only your voice will be heard when you are talking. I have even had my windows down driving down the road and when I asked the person I was talking to if they could still hear me without any trouble and I could hear them just fine too!
I also love that I am able to play music through it. We travel a lot and through canyons where we don’t always get a radio single, I can stream music from my phone through the Jabra Freeway and it is pretty loud (or quiet) depending on what I want. It is a nice option to have available.
The batter has lasted forever. We use it regularly and sometimes it even gets left on – but we have only had to charge the battery a couple of times in a couple of months. It has an in-car charger, but the usb cord is removable so you can also charge it from your computer. It has a clip on the back that allows it to attach to your visor. On the device there is a volume up and down, mute, voice, fm, and phone functions.
Overall we have been very happy with the Jabra Freeway and totally recommend it for anyone – wither you commute or not – simply because it makes life just that much easier.
