For years I have heard of Wheat Germ and I always thought “ick”. I just sounds gross, lol, and while it is wheat, I was sure that I could get those nutritional values from something else. I can honestly say in my 31 years of living I don’t remember having Wheat Germ until just recently when I tried out Kretschmer Wheat Germ. I got the Honey Crunch flavor and I am telling you honestly, that it is so good. My whole family was totally surprised at how good it was. We put it on our yogurt, on jam sandwiches, (they even like to sneak it plain) and tons of other foods. We tried it with the Oikos Organic Yogurt and it was so yummy!
An excellent source of Vitamin E & Folic Acid Including several essential nutrients. It also adds a tasty zing to just about any of your favorite foods! Find it in the cereal aisle.
Kretschmer Wheat Germ is only 50 calories per serving (2 tbsps) it is full of protein-packed vital nutrients like Vitamin E, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Thiamin, Phosphorus, and Zinc. It is also high in Fiber. This is a great way to get some of the most important nutrients you need daily with just a couple of spoonfuls of wheat germ with your meal! I was really excited about the folic acid because I feel like this would be a no brainer for pregnant women!
Just to give you an idea of how many ways you can use it, be sure to view all of the Wheat Germ Recipes. There are some really yummy ones like Pumpkin pie, ginger bread cookies, key lime tarts, double berry banana smoothies, and more.
I received coupons for free Kretschmer Wheat Germ and Yogurt in exchange for this review. This did not effect my opinions for this review. They are all my own.
