I love movies, and I love the actors and actresses, the whole cinematic experience is really amazing and unique. I never imagined that I would be able to be part of a red carpet experience – but I was able to go to Los Angeles for a weekend and while I was there I was able to go to TWO red carpet premieres. The first was for The Delivery Man and the other was Thor: The Dark World.
During my trip there I was able to do so many amazing things. We went to Disneyland, we interviewed stars of the movies we were there to go the premiers for, as well as go to Disney studios and even meet with stars of the ABC show The Neighbors. There was just so much to see and do. I have a very nice Canon EOS Rebel T3i Camera with an extra lens and other equipment that I wanted to take with me everywhere we went, and I was worried about how I would transport it all from place to place.
I didn’t want to take my big bulky camera bag (that is big but ironically only has enough room for just my camera stuff), and on some of the trips I needed a little more protection that just throwing it into a bag, so I went on the search for a bag that would be able to hold all of my equipment as well as some extra things.
This is when I found LowePro. They have many different styles and sizes of bags that will accommodate all your needs. I found the bag that I needed for my trip {It is the Transit Sling 250 AW} and was very excited when it showed up. Right away I fell in love with it. The color was perfect (it looks clean all the time, doesn’t get hot or attract heat, and it looks good in pretty much any situation). Taking it out and holding it lets you know how good of quality it is. It is padded all over and that protects your equipment when it gets bumped or banged {without being bulky}.
There are so many compartments, pockets, and accesses to this bag that it is perfect over your shoulder as a backpack (even with a waist strap so it doesn’t move around) or as a sling where you wear it in front and can access your equipment from the side. There is a compartment in the back that was perfect for my Kindle {perfect tablet size}, that I took with me almost everywhere, and there is even a place on the side for a tripod. The Lowepro 250 AW Transit Sling Bag has thought of everything and has so many compartments you will be in love. It also has little “pockets” where you can hid the extra straps and such when you are not using them.
I had this bag loaded with all of my camera equipment, chargers, chords, and anything else electronics for my trip since it was one of my carry-ons, and I swear it didn’t even blink. The seams didn’t look stressed, the stitching held up well, and the bag itself held up well. The strap is also generously cushioned which is no nice when you have it over your shoulder because it doesn’t cut into your skin or make it uncomfortable.
Overall I love my Lowepro Camera Bag and I recommend it. I hold everything that I need and then some, and because it is a sling I can wear it on my back {and use the waist strap to keep it in place}, or I can carry it in front and have easy access to all of the pockets {which I used frequently on my trips} to access things without having to take it off, it just swings around. Another thing I have to mention (and that I love love) is that is has a built in All Weather cover to protect your bag from the elements! It is a nice heavy duty cover, that folds up and tucks right back into its little pocket! There is so much to love about this bag, you will wonder what you have been doing without one!
