Man Crates Review – The search is over, Man Crates are the perfect gifts for Guys!
My wonderful wife gave me this wooden box on my birthday in October. Looking it over I thought to myself “How freakin sweet is this! “Man Crates”, written on the side and the box appeared to look like a crate that you might see an exotic animal or buried treasure in. My thoughts then turned to “all I want to do is get this thing open and see what’s inside.” And on the same note I didn’t want to just smash the crate with a hammer for two reasons: 1) The crate might have something fragile. 2) It’s a freakin sweet looking crate and I want to save it.
I first tried to pry the crate open with my fingers…..THIS THING IS A ROCK!! Obviously I was extremely impressed with the packaging. I turned to my wife and said “love it babe! Now how do I open it?” She then handed me this awesome looking crowbar and I in turn said “where did you get that?” “It came with the box.” ……WOW, talk about already impressing a guy on his birthday with a really cool looking crate, and then add a crowbar, the ultimate tool for manhandling anything that you need to get into. I didn’t even need to open the crate. I was already happily excited about my cool looking crate and my crowbar.
But, just like any curious monkey, I wanted to see the treasure that was contained. I had to use a hammer with the crowbar to get the crate to begin to open. “Talk about well-built/heavy-duty crate.” Opening the crate I felt like I was opening a million dollar safe. I don’t remember the last time I was so excited about opening a gift. “Way to go ‘Man Crates‘ for making my fun-filled days of youth return to me with a wooden box and a survival tool.”
I pried the lid from the top and to my surprise was the best present my wife could have given me. I love to eat! Who doesn’t? Right! Inside the Man Crates I got is listed as follows:
- An 8” X 5” X 1.5” cast iron smoker box made by “GrillPro”; “the same thing that classic dutch ovens are made from.”
- One small burlap sack filled with hickory wood smoking chips, “the perfect size to fill the smoker box.”
- One 5 fl. oz. bottle of “Lea & Perrins” The Original Worcestershire Sauce.
- One 6.8 fl. oz. bottle of “Bone Doctors” Original Barbeque Sauce.
- Two 6 oz. bottles of “Miners Mix” Original Steak, and Chipotle seasoning and rub.
- One 1 oz. box of “Miners Mix” Salmon Marinade.
- And as a bonus for a mouthwatering treat to indulge me while I smoke my steak
- One 3.5 oz. bag of “Snyder’s” Jalapeno pretzel pieces
- One 4 oz. bag of “Corn Nuts” BBQ crunchy corn kernels.
If that doesn’t make your mouth water with just the thought of what you can accomplish with this, then nothing will. I was ultimately beside myself with excitement, and really about the only things that gets me excited anymore are, spending time with my kids, watching football, and well, wink wink….. That said, this gift gave me the gift of creating a professional, juicy, smoked taste right in my own backyard.
Oh and if you didn’t think it could get any better, now I have friends asking me where I had dinner delivered from! All I can do is smile! Now I have a sweet looking crate to boot for my ammunition and may I suggest giving this to your sweetheart as well, every girl could use a “real” jewelry box to protect their investment.
I am overly impressed and extremely excited to say “Thank You Man Crates” for a fantastic product which made my Birthday the perfect Birthday that I imagined.
