This last weekend I was able to take my family to go and see Monster Jam in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is always a great show, but this year’s show, was by far, the best show we have ever been to. There was so much action, crashes, jumps, wheelies and tricks that we were literally on the edge of our seats for most of the show. The Monster Jam show in Salt Lake featured 8 drivers/trucks this year. They all did a great job. My son’s favorite has always been Grave Digger®, and one of my daughters loves Scooby-Doo™, another loves Monster Mutt® Dalmation and the other one like the Maverick truck (who unfortunately wasn’t there this year). We had a lot of fun cheering for our favorites – and getting into the show.
Monster Jam Triple Threat Series team athletes that competed in Utah are:
- Grave Digger® driven by Cole Venard
- Max-D® driven by Jared Eichelberger
- El Toro Loco® driven by Mark List
- Monster Mutt® Dalmation* driven by Cynthia Gauthier
- Zombie™ driven by Tyler Groth
- New Earth AuthoritySM (N.E.A.) driven by Travis Groth
- Scooby-Doo™ driven by rookie Myranda Cozad
- Mohawk Warrior* driven by rookie Bryce Kenny
Unlike any other Monster Jam event, the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series is the definitive test of endurance, versatility and driving skills that showcases these premiere athletes as they go head-to-head in seven unique endurance competitions driving three different vehicles: Monster Jam trucks, Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs; ultimately battling for points in both racing and freestyle events that push themselves and their machines to the limit.
We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of the show. If you want to go, you can check to see local showing on www.monsterjam.com/tickets. This is one event that I highly recommend. Take your family and friends and get ready for a great time. The show lasts about 2 hours – give or take, and you will want to take some kind of ear protection. We ordered hearing protection ear muffs on Amazon.com to take with us. These are great because they come in handy for other things like shooting practice, household DIY projects and more and they keep your ears protected! These are a must have – especially for kids. In in-ear plugs just don’t work as well.
I hope you get to get out and enjoy one of the upcoming Monster Jam shows! I would love to hear what you think. Have you been to Monster Jam before?
Don’t miss out on a great show. Monster Jam is still playing in a lot of cities all over the U.S. clear into May, with the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas March 23-25, 2017.
