If there is something that my kids love – it’s learning. I am pretty blessed that my kids find learning “fun” and want to do more. They are typical kids in the sense that they won’t sit at a desk all day, but they won’t complain either. That is just one of the reasons that I love the new Nickelodeon DVD “Let’s Learn: S.T.E.M” featuring shows that focus on Science, Tech, Engineering and Math. What a great combo! Let’s Learn: S.T.E.M. includes the following episodes:
- Blaze and the Monster Machines “Tool Duel”
- PAW Patrol “Pups Save an Ace/Pups Save the Wedding”
- Bubble Guppies “Build Me a Building”
- Team Umizoomi “Let’s Play Math Dragons”
- Dora the Explorer “School Science Fair”
- Blue’s Clues “Contraptions”
My kids loved all of them. I was even pulled into them all! There is also a worksheet inside of the case that your kids will enjoy filling out.

Another really great DVD that came out today is Nickelodeon’s Wallykazam!. This is a really fun DVD packed with entertaining shows that all of my kids (even my 10 year old) loved! I have to admit the tunes are catchy! 🙂 Wallykazam! includes the following episodes:
- Naptime for Borgelorp – Wally uses magic words to help tire out Ogre Doug’s hyper and unpredictable pet Borgelorp.
- Castle Caper – Wally must oust Bobgoblin from a castle intended for his pet dragon, Norville.
- Victor the Villain – While pretending to be superheroes, Wally and Norville decide they need a real villain to match wits with and conjure up, Victor the Villain.
- The Switching Stone – Wally, Norville and Gina Giant find a magical “switching stone” that’s a lot of fun until it turns Bobgoblin into a giant.
Nickelodeon’s hit preschool literacy series Wallykazam! makes its DVD debut today. The series follows the adventures of Wally and his pet dragon, Norville, who live in a forest among giants, goblins and other fantastical creatures. Wally has a magic stick that makes words come to life on the screen playfully transforming the world around him. Wallykazam! is Nickelodeon’s first preschool series that embeds a literacy curriculum into a full-length story, introducing skills such as letter and sound identification, rhyming, vocabulary development and comprehension strategies.
