When you buy an electronic device you generally spend a lot of money. It is a big investment that you want to have protected and there is no better case to protect that electronic device than an OtterBox Case. I try to be careful with my devices but with four kids, traveling, and work it gets pretty rough sometimes. I have been using my OtterBox case for my Kindle for a couple of months now and I will honestly tell you that I will never find another case that gives me the protection that this one provides.
There are so many features to this case. Looking at it you might think that it is pretty basic, but it there is a lot to this case. It has a flexible plastic screen protector (that has literally save the screen of my kindle over a dozen times now) built into the top part of the case. There is a two-piece plastic case that snaps on around the kindle and then there is a rubber case that goes on after that. It is very well protected under two durable and forgiving layers.
And if all of that wasn’t enough, there is a hard plastic case that snaps onto the back of the kindle giving it yet another layer of protection. This hard plastic layer also has a stand built into it so if you like to read or have your kindle in an up position with out holding it then you are set! My kindle should have been dead 10 times over (from accidentally dropping it from about 5 feet high onto a hard floor, to having the screen hit, to so many other things) and it is still running and looking like new. Even my OtterBox case has minimal markings.
I don’t always keep this part of the case on it – but I like to keep it handy when I want to use it. I love that it can be off or on and still look nice and be functional. It is the same way with my OtterBox phone case – and I love it!
I love how the stand works. I it is the perfect angle and easy to setup, yet you can close the stand and attach the whole thing to your case or set it aside. It is very durable (as myself and my kids have put it to the test) and we have never had an issue or cracking, breaking or even wear.
Here is another favorite about this case. It comes with another layer you can add that is a “carry” case, that also doubles and a system for attaching to places like car seat head rests. This is so nice, especially when we are traveling, for me to attach my Kindle to the back of my headrest and let the kids watch a movie till they fall asleep.
Have you used OtterBox before? If you haven’t tried it yet, I can tell you that once you use OtterBox you will never go back. All of my devices have OtterBox cases because I know they protect my stuff and they do a great job. They are built to last – and take it over and over and over without weakening or declining.
