OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL is a must see

I went into OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL knowing a little about it, but not enough to ruin it. I wanted to be surprised, and surprised I was! First off, I just have to say that I really loved the cast. I think they worked well together and of course, their performance was amazing. The special effects and scenery were also amazing. Once the movie started, it pulled you in and kept your attention. We were able to see OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL in 3D and I am glad we did. Not only did it give it a true 3-D look (like you were watching a real life play) but there were several special effects that “popped out” of the screen at you. I love that part!

As far as the story line, I was very surprised. OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL takes you on the adventure of learning about “Oz” himself, and has nothing to do with Dorthy and that part of the adventure (yet…hopefully). You learn about the witches, and the munchkins, the cowardly lion, scarecrows, and other parts that I am sure will come into play in a follow up movie.

The overall theme of the movie honestly taught kids that its important to believe in yourself and realize your potential, even if it is not what people are expecting, you can be great and accomplish great things. All of my kids, myself, and my hubby loved this movie. It is a great thing to do together and everyone will love it.
