Review & Giveaway: Team Clean – Salt Lake City, Utah

I have recently had the wonderful opportunity to work with an amazing local company from Salt Lake City called Team Clean! They spoiled me by coming to my house and cleaning it! I have to admit, since I knew they were coming, I let my house go a little because I was already feeling overwhelmed and tired from all of the craziness in my life. They did not disappoint! It was fabulous to have two very knowledgeable and hard working women here in my house, making it spotless, while I just relaxed and visited with them.  They were both very nice and made me feel comfortable. Anna shared several of her cleaning tips with me and I really learned a lot from her. My bathroom had not been that clean since we moved into our house (unfortunately). I just don’t have the time or energy to clean it like that anymore. AND I didn’t have the awesome tips that she showed me, that made things much faster and were 100% effective. After looking back at the BEFORE pictures, I am a little embarrassed. I do keep my house picked up and the “basic” cleaning done. I didn’t really realize how truly dirty my house was and needed to be deep cleaned until I saw the before and after pictures side by side. You will be amazed!

My toilet has had a ring in it since the day we moved in (it was in there when we moved in almost three years ago) and I was not able to get rid of it, no matter what I did. Anna, was able to eliminate the ring in about five minutes. I about died I was so excited! It was just amazing. The best part is that it is a “natural” cleaner that doesn’t have any chemical smells or effects. Look at these before and after pictures of the toilet:

It almost doesn’t even look like the same toilet. Its crazy! I am so excited to have it sparkling white! YAY!

My sink has had a grime build up around the faucet and a layer of hard water in the basin for over two years. I tried several cleaners (everything from KaBoom to Lysol) and nothing really worked to completely eliminate the dirtiness that was there. After about 10 minutes, Anna had completely rid the basin of the hard water stains, and eliminated the grime around the faucet.

As you can see in the top before picture, the sink is grimy (not shinny) and pretty gross covered with hard water stains and grime. In the bottom picture there is a beautiful shine to the sink and there is no more grim, especially around the faucet! Its great. (the dark ring around the outside of the sink is our caulk wearing away). She did an amazing job with both the toilet and the sink. That was a lot of work! She was very careful to make sure every corner was scrubbed and even the mirrors were sparkling and spotless. I was just amazed at how fast she was able to get everything done but how thorough she was at the same time. Team Clean did a great job cleaning the bathroom and left me feeling like I would really like to have them back to keep it looking that way. It’s not that I can’t do it, I just find myself short on time, a lot, and deep cleaning the bathroom isn’t at the top of the list. This made it easy for me and they are very affordable, so they can help you achieve the level of organization and cleanliness you want without breaking your checkbook!

While Anna was cleaning the bathroom, her sister Gretchen was cleaning my Kitchen. (My two most hated places to clean…as you can see). This was no easy task. Like I said, I had let my house go a little so not only were the counters and stove dirty, but the cupboards and the floors too. She started with sweeping and getting the “first” layer of crumbs and dirt up, then continued to clean the counters, stove and cupboards. You can see the difference in my counter, that they were able to get all of the grossness and stains out. Since my counters are white they are pretty hard to get that clean look, because they “absorb’ everything. Team Clean did an amazing job and leaving them white and sparkling clean!

She did an amazing job of cleaning that made everything so nice and smell great. Before she started cleaning, my kitchen looked and felt so gross. It was hard to believe that we had actually ate lunch in there an hour before. When she was done, the kitchen looked amazing. Every corner (even on the floors) was scrubbed and cleaned, the back splash, and also UNDER everything I had on my counters (like the toaster, spice rack, can opener, etc). She was very thorough and efficient.

My floor under the bar area at our counter, is always dirty and gross. Because that is where the kids sit to eat, and all it takes is one meal and there is a mess there sometimes. Gretchen did an amazing job getting all of the mess off the floor and making it look so clean.

Once she was done scrubbing everything, she swept/vacuumed the floor again and then mopped. While mopping she realized she missed scrubbing one of the cupboards, so she stopped and scrubbed it clean, then finished mopping the floor.

AND to top it all off, they were about 10 minutes over, but finished anyways. They were really amazing and hard working. I would definitely recommend Team Clean to anyone. They are fast and efficient and will not disappoint.  Overall I give them a 5 out of 5 stars review.
