I accepted and completed the Skintactix 30-day Skin Care Challenge.
The kit I was sent included: a Septicide Cleanser, Gentle Follicle Exfoliator, Green Tea Poultice, and a Treatment Moisturizer. Each bottle came labeled with LARGE numbers (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3) which I loved. This made it so that I wasn’t searching for the bottle I needed each time I washed my face. The bottles also had detailed instruction on how to use them and when (night time, after makeup, etc). These two things gave me a great first impression. To top it off, these are made in the USA!
The Speticiade Cleanser (Step 1): Only a small amount was needed in order for me to wash my face. Since it works into a nice lather, I still felt like it was cleaning without using a huge amount. I could definitely feel the difference after I washed it. I love that “clean” feeling.
For those of you, like me, are wondering what Speticiade is, then here are some details: Ideal for rosacea, acne rosacea and dry or sensitive skin types. Effective bacterial control against P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases. Additional anti-inflammatory benefits.
The Gentle Follicle Exfoliator (Step 2): This item worked exactly as it said it would. It exfoliates your skin, leaving it smooth and soft. It was not to harsh (since I have sensitive skin) but it still did a great job getting rid of all the “garbage” that was clogging up my pores.
Ideal for rosacea, acne rosacea, dry and sensitive skin types. Keeps follicles clear. Effective bacterial control against P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases. Powerful anti-inflammatory benefits
The Green Tea Poultice (Step 3): Once you have washed and exfoliated, you will use the Green Tea Poultice. When I applied this I could hardly tell it was there. The color (greyish-green) throws you off at first, but once you apply it, it blends in and you can’t even tell. It feels just a tiny bit dry where you put this, but it is meant for just your acne trouble spots. Not a lot of this was needed on each spot.
For most skin types. Poultice action literally pulls infection and developing infection up and out of the skin. Provides extraordinary acne benefits against P. acne and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases. Blocks the action of 5α-reductase. Powerful anti-inflammatory benefits.
Moisturizer (step 4): This says to use only when needed, but I found that my skin felt better if I used it after every washing. Since the Green Tea Poultice did dry my skin out just a little (since that’s it’s job) the moisturizer helped my skin feel 100%. It was soft and not only looked good, but felt good. It was very creamy, and so I did not have to use much to have it cover my whole face. For most skin types. Light and non-oily moisturization with active ingredients that combat acne. Powerful antioxidant formula reduces free radical activities that promote acne and inflammation. Powerful anti-aging benefits.
The smell of the skin care was very “natural”. It is like smelling lavender oil or other natural herbs/flowers. It was extremely pleasant and not overwhelming or “chemical” smelling like most of the other cleansers/moisturizers we have tried. This was pretty amazing to me since they are made for acne control. I love that it’s all natural.
Overall, I have to say that the Skintactix Products are amazing. They do exactly what they say they will and my skin felt better and looked better with in just a few days. After the 30 days it was amazing the results that I got. If you are looking for a acne skincare solution that works then try Skintactix.
