We have never lived in a home with a chimney. So we have been coming up with creative excuses about how Santa got into our house without a chimney. We always told our oldest that he would “make” his own chimney to go down and when he was done he would go back up and everything would be normal. I can’t believe that it is almost Christmas! We are talking about Santa again, and how he will get into our house. This sparked a conversation that led to some research. We were looking on Trulia and found out that while fireplaces are a common amenity, many new homes lack chimneys. This causes a problem for Santa. If your home doesn’t have a chimney, how do your kids think Santa gets the presents under the tree?
