Shirley J Mugging Cake in a Mug and Cookie Mixes Review
I have been a fan of Shirley J for years – especially their Whisk Bliss Original cooking base that you can use to make almost anything! (I’m craving Alfredo now, lol). Along with their amazing cooking products are their yummy desserts! Their new Mugging kits are perfect gifts for any occasion! They have to many flavors (brownies, cake, corn bread, pancakes, spice bread, quiche, and walnut bread) that you will no doubt be able to please everyone on your list!
They are so easy to use. Simply choose what you want to make (of course my first choice was the brownies, yum). Then you follow the directions on the packet for the liquids and then add the nummies (like chocolate chips, coconut, etc) that you want to include.
Once you have it all put together you simply microwave it for a couple of minutes and when it is done you have a yummy brownie in a mug! I loved my Shirley J Mugging brownie and so did my kids lol. To bribe them to let me finish mine, we let them each make their own. I can honestly tell you that not one bite was wasted! They are the perfect serving size and really fun to make (and eat of course)!

We made the Ginger Molasses Cookies with our Holiday Magic Elfs and it was a lot of fun. The kids loved to help and the cookies were of course, super tasty. We also used a little of the cake mix to sprinkle on uncooked biscuits (that were covered in melted butter) to make Ginger Molasses Pull-Aparts. They are soooo yummy!
