I love shopping – especially for Christmas. It is so much fun to browse online and in store and pick out fun gifts for my family and friends. I, of course, have a budget that I try and stick to, but that doesn’t mean that I pay in cash. I like to keep track of my purchases as well as get rewarded when I buy stuff – so I have found the perfect way to get both – Chase Ultimate Rewards. This personalized rewards program is available to Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire and Ink from Chase cardholders. One this I love about Ultimate Rewards is that it gives me lots of great chouces for how to use my points – so I can redeem points for travel, merchandise, gift cards, cash back and more.
Earning points is also super easy – just use your card. If you have direct deposit setup, you can redeem your points for cash. For example 2,000 points = $20. If you would rather have a gift card instead of cash, then you can get them for the same prices you’d pay in store – without additional markups or fees – so a $50 gift card is = 5,000 points. Rewards for travel can be redeemed on any flight at any time without blackout dates or restrictions. Chase is also offering extra incentives to cardholders with Ultimate Rewards during the holidays, making it a one-stop shop for Holiday gifts while helping you stay on budget!
Wouldn’t it be great to use your credit card to pay for everything, and get rewarded for what you are buying anyways? If you are going to spend that money regardless – why not get rewarded for it?
I was thinking about our shopping list this year and what we have on it – and what I wish we were getting – and I am getting pretty excited. I keep looking for good deals on some things like a new DSLR Camera, desktop computer and Blu-Ray player – but on the other end of my Holiday shopping wish list are things like DVD’s, games, and books. Being able to redeem points for things like gift cards and merchandise will make it easier to do my Christmas shopping and save money.
How are you stretching your dollars this Holiday Season?
