Tailgating with family and friends is a lot of fun. This American pastime is something that we, as a nation, have celebrated for decades. Traditionally it centralizes around football, tailgating in the parking lot of the game you are going to. But why limit yourself? You can enjoy a pre-game tailgate anytime, anyplace. While we were on vacation in Florida, the Chargers and Seahawks game was on. My husband didn’t want to miss it so we were excited when we found out it would be on one of the channels in the hotel we were staying at.
Because we were traveling, we didn’t have all of our normal tailgate gear, but we were able to go online to Walmart.com and order a Coleman cooler and a few other necessities and pick them up at a store close to where we were staying. This was so nice. We packed everything into the car and decided to spend the day at the beach, enjoying the open water, and fabulous views. We couldn’t take a grill out on the beach, so we made sandwiches and played in the water, playing catch with a football on the beach. Tailgating with Coleman made our day more enjoyable. Then we were able to come back to the hotel in time to watch the game together.
