I was provided with a copy of this movie in order to do the Christmas Oranges movie review. This is no way affected my opinion and all thoughts are my own.
Christmas always gets me thinking about how I should be more generous and try to do more for those around me. Not that I don’t try already, but this time of year is a special time where hearts seem to feel a little different and it makes the spirit of Christmas that much stronger. The movie Christmas Oranges was one my family and I enjoyed watching. My kids learned a lot from it and I hope that it gave them a better understanding of what different situations in life are like (and maybe that they don’t really have it do bad after all! lol.)
The movie is about a young girl that goes to an Orphanage and her trials and struggles. She goes through some tough times against children who tease her and are mean to her, but she has a great friend who sticks up for her and through many different circumstances they all become friends and are able to put their differences aside. With Edward Herrmann, Nancy Stafford and Bailee Johnson leading the cast, this is a movie that your kids will want to watch again and again.
The Christmas Oranges movie is a great way to teach children more about the true meaning of Christmas and how it is not about the presents but what we can do for others. It is a very touching movie, but not sappy and so your kids will not get board with it.
The Christmas Oranges movie came out on November 6th! so look for it at Stores and online!
There is also a beautiful Christmas Oranges book that you can get as well.
