
The Fast Metabolism Diet Book Review
The Fast Metabolism Diet is a new way to look at getting healthy and staying that way. It is not a fad diet that makes you cut out everything you love, but instead teaches you the correct way to eat and what to eat to keep your metabolism running at “optimum speed”. I had the opportunity to host a “The Fast Metabolism Mommy Party with a group of my friends and we had a lot of fun.
We were able to try out Celestial Seasonings Teas, Applegate Meats, Artisana Almond Butter and more. We also made recipes for a Berry Nutty Oatmeal Smoothie, Italian Chicken and Wild Rice, and a Cucumber Veggie Dip. These recipes used veggies and fruits, with herbs, seasonings and spices to make them taste very good.
I loved the awesome tips and delicious recipes designed by celebrity nutritionist and wellness consultant Haylie Pomroy, straight from her soon-to-be released book, The Fast Metabolism Diet!
We talked about The Fast Metabolism Diet and hit on some great key points in the book. I loved her eating plan and how she talks about what kinds of foods to eat on what days to keep your metabolism boosted. My favorite part was that there were so many foods to eat for each section. It was just a list of meals and a snack – there were LOTS of options! This is great for someone like me who is a little bit of a picky eater. (yup, I’ll admit it. I am the baby of the family and got away with being more picky that my siblings…lol).
Overall, the steps and meals plans in The Fast Metabolism Diet were easy to follow and I felt like it was an easy transition to make. We really like the recipes and even the helpful shopping lists in the book.
