Valentine’s Day is almost here. Instead of buying the traditional candy and flowers, I like to get a nice gift (that is still cheaper than they candy and flowers, and lasts a lot longer). While putting together this list, I have found some great new products that we love and I want to share them with you so you can get them to try with your family as well.
Valentine’s Day Gifts
LilGadgets Headphones – Designed for kids, made by parents. The Connect + Style headphones by LilGadgets are designed specifically for children ages 3+ with form and functionality in mind. They will feel special that their set of headphones has a touch of personalization because the Connect + style come in 7 different colors.
The Connect+ Style are adorably durable, volume limited and promise clarity. Constructed with SoftTouch™ material, the Connect+ Style allows for rugged durability, as well as a delicate feel, and comfortable fit. The Studio-grade 40mm drivers render sound more clearly, allowing for lower volume levels. |
Arcopedico Luana – This bootie has side goring which allows for even more flexibility to fit the shape of your feet. The supportive sole is on a slight wedge to give a fashionable appearance while maintaining the comfort Arcopedico is famous for. Extremely comfortable, these booties are made to be worn for hours on end (which makes them perfect for travel or those who are on their feet all day). They also provide excellent support and have side zippers for ease of taking the shoes on and off. Even better? They weigh less than a pound, the majority of which are vegan, washable and crushable. 3Doodler – This is one of my kids’ favorite things to create with. There are so many different colors and limitless designs that you can make that it is literally the most fun thing you can get your kids (or you!).
As a tactile learning toy, the 3Doodler Start inspires creativity, design, planning, building, and spatial understanding. Plastic hardens rapidly allowing kids to literally draw in the air with only one speed and one temperature. Use the Activity Guide or hundreds of free stencils and tutorials on our website to make your own glasses, helicopters and more! Doodle on a flat surface, mid-air, or join pieces together to build awe-inspiring 3D structures. The possibilities are limitless! The 3Doodler Start Plastic is non-toxic, BPA-Free and like the 3Doodler Start Pen, it is designed to be safe for kids over ages 6 and above to use. Each pack provides you with hours of fun and play! Free Spirit SP Diaper Bag – For those who love adventures and trekking through the great outdoors, a growing family means a growing amount of items with children in tow. This lifestyle family adventure company’s newest lineup introduces the Free Spirit SP Diaper Bag. It’s durable to tote all essential items and there’s no added weight from the backpack. The design includes many exterior utility pockets to keep everything easily accessible. Available in three different colors, both moms and dads will want to sport this family activity backpack not to leave home without. |
Dragon Pearl Book – I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is the latest book from the Rick Riordan Presents collection and I have enjoyed both of them. Dragon Pearl is packed with mystery and adventure and is great for all ages.
Rick Riordan Presents Yoon Ha Lee’s space opera about thirteen-year-old Min, who comes from a long line of fox spirits. But you’d never know it by looking at her. To keep the family safe, Min’s mother insists that none of them use any fox-magic, such as Charm or shape-shifting. They must appear human at all times. Min feels hemmed in by the household rules and resents the endless chores, the cousins who crowd her, and the aunties who judge her. She would like nothing more than to escape Jinju, her neglected, dust-ridden, and impoverished planet. She’s counting the days until she can follow her older brother, Jun, into the Space Forces and see more of the Thousand Worlds. When word arrives that Jun is suspected of leaving his post to go in search of the Dragon Pearl, Min knows that something is wrong. Jun would never desert his battle cruiser, even for a mystical object rumored to have tremendous power. She decides to run away to find him and clear his name. Min’s quest will have her meeting gamblers, pirates, and vengeful ghosts. It will involve deception, lies, and sabotage. She will be forced to use more fox-magic than ever before, and to rely on all of her cleverness and bravery. The outcome may not be what she had hoped, but it has the potential to exceed her wildest dreams. This sci-fi adventure with the underpinnings of Korean mythology will transport you to a world far beyond your imagination. Learn more on: https://www.readriordan.com/book/dragon-pearl |
Smartivity Playsets – These playsets are so fun! I even enjoyed helping now and then (not that they needed) putting the marble maze together. These sets are made with non-toxic wood (so very durable) and help kids really see how things are built and put together. We were able to build the Mechanical Xylophone Music Machine and the Roller Coaster Marble Slide!
Smartivity is a fun and exciting new way to learn through play! Introduce your child to core STEM concepts through fun and engaging toys and activities. Little engineers can follow the instructions to build their own toy using the pieces provided. The fun doesn’t stop there! Each completed set results in a fun toy or activity that proves that the power of play is the best way to learn. This DIY toy is the smart way to let young minds grow. It’s not only the best DIY toy, but it’s also the DIT toy that lets you Do It Together with the family! Learn more on: https://www.smartivity.in |
