Visit a local corn maze to celebrate the 50th anniversary of It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the tv special, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. To celebrate, PEANUTS has teamed up with 98 farms across the U.S. and Canada who have all created corn mazes that are scenes from the special! With ingeniously designed corn mazes created by The MAiZE Inc. and featuring the beloved Peanuts characters, these farms welcome Peanuts fans in search of fun, food, photos, family memories—and the mysterious Great Pumpkin! Use the map to find the farms closest to you—or plan a road trip and visit several!  Happy Halloween, and Happy 50th Anniversary of the Great Pumpkin!

We are lucky to have one close to us, and we are going to visit Cornbelly’s soon to celebrate the PEANUTS fun with them! We went last year and had so much fun!

• Outdoor Movie Night
  Monday, October 10 at dark
  In honor of our Peanuts theme this year and the 50th anniversary of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, we’ll be showing the classic movie on an outdoor jumbo screen in our Event Square. Bring a blanket, grab some kettle corn and enjoy this fun movie with your family.

• Meet the Gang Mondays
  October 3, 10, 17, 24 from 4:30 to 8:30 pm
  Come visit us each Monday in October and meet a different member of the official Peanuts gang each time! In fact, come all four Mondays and get a selfie with each character to qualify for a special prize!

• Scary Tales & S’mores
  Monday October 10, Amy (Schultz) Johnson will be the guest reader!
  Monday/Friday/Saturday at 7 p.m.
  Join us around one of our large bonfires for a fun-filled storytelling session & the chance to roast some yummy s’mores. Even better, on occasion we’ll have a guest reader come & share some of their favorite stories. Past readers have included Miss Utah, Thurl Bailey, Nathan and David Osmond, Brandon Mull of Fablehaven, Alex Boye and more! * There is a fee to purchase s’more supplies

• Fireworks
  Every Friday & Saturday through Oct. 29 at 8:30 pm
  Don’t miss Utah’s only Halloween musical fireworks shows!

  • Friday shows have a special twist featuring our a-MAZE-ing Peanuts theme this year

  • Saturday shows are all about Halloween

  Come Friday and Saturday to see them both if you can! Fireworks are included in regular Cornbelly’s admission. Musical tracks prepared by Munchkin Radio.
