I love photography and I love photographing weddings. I have taken pictures of many different weddings over the years. In addition to knowing how to use your camera and be able to take a good picture, it helps to have a wedding photo checklist so you make sure you don’t miss any important shots.
I am getting ready to do the photography for my nephew’s wedding in October and I was going over my wedding photo checklist. I know this is a long list and it seems like a lot, but you will be surprised how fast it goes. The most time-consuming part are the family, wedding party, and the bride and groom shots. You can do most of the photos on this checklist before the ceremony so the guests and bride and groom can relax and enjoy the reception.
If you are limited in time, show the bride and groom this checklist and let them pick a handful of favorites. Be sure to customize it as needed depending on the needs of the wedding couple. At one of the weddings I did, the bride and groom wanted a photo with almost every guest that attended. They had a special area setup so it wasn’t a big deal. They loved it and I enjoyed taking the photos.
