We are long-time DC fans. We have watched pretty much everything from the early ’70s through now and so we were excited to watch the newest addition to the DC line – Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This is actually a 4 part series, that takes the original Justice League movie and transforms it into what every comic book nerd wishes each of the superhero movies would have been.

The detail, extended storyline, special effects, and music really take it to a whole new level. It has set the bar high. It is the same way I felt when they released the extended edition of Lord of the Rings. It’s just that much freaking better. Yes, there is some language. It is very violent. It gets dark. And sometimes you just want to curl up into a ball. But this movie will rock your world.

The age of heroes is upon us when the Warner Bros. Pictures and DC full-length HBO Max Original feature film “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” arrives on 4K, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD on September 7. The screenplay is by Chris Terrio, story by Chris Terrio & Zack Snyder and Will Beall, based on characters from DC, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. In “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

The Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” will feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers are required, or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar; however, Dolby Atmos soundtracks are also fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment.
